Express yourself through the language of music.
This course is for any individual (or friends/family members) above 8 years, who is /are interested in playing in groups or ensembles. Beginners with basic playing skills, as well as advanced students can join the course.
How does it work?
If an individual signs up for the course - After a one-to-one lesson, the individual is given few options of other players/groups/ensembles that she/he could join. The players/groups/ensembles are matched up of players of similar musical skill level and reasonable distance of living location. The members get to decide, at whose home will the lessons happen. In case there is a space issue, Anima Mundi may be able to help with the location.
If two or more players sign up for the course - After a lesson where all the players are present, consultation takes place about the possibilities of repertoire for the given instruments. If the players are open to play with others, another player (or more) can join them. The members decide, at whose home will the lessons happen. In case there is a space issue, Anima Mundi helps with the location.
Our qualified tutors from world's leading consrvatoires bring expertise into your home through our peripatetic tuition system. Our Music Academy courses runs in the students' homes. Music literally comes to you!

About the lessons?
The lessons equip every student with ensemble awareness, rehearsal strategies, ensemble managemet skills, sight reading skills in a group setting, and understanding one's role in the ensemble. Each player polishes her/his strenghts and improves the weaknesses in the context of group playing - therefore learns to be a valuable member of any ensemble or orchestra.Exploration and research of the chamber music repertoire is also a key feature of the course.
Each Chamber course group is FREE of any compulsory exam. There is a possibilty to sign up for a voluntary annual exam that consists of a performance. The students are evaluated as a group (not individually) and according to the personalised syllabus of the group.
Yes, the groups have their own syllabus as well. It aims to set a direction to the group in which all the members benefit equally from the course. It helps to balance the roles the players take, so that everyone gets to lead, as well as support the others. The syllabus supports the variety of the repertoire over the course of learning.
The payments are calculated individually to each player, and are being arranged on a termly basis.
